Confirm a clean root canal in seconds!
Endocator is the first and only chairside test to assess the cleanliness of a root canal prior to obturation. Endocator works by detecting trace amounts of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and other biomarkers inside of a root canal. Low levels of ATP mean that there is a low concentration of cellular debris, and the root canal is clean.
The Benefits
Measure ATP from bacterial and nerve tissue in ten seconds
Verify the root canal is clean before finishing the root canal
Can be used for vital, necrotic, and retreatment cases
Finish more root canals in one visit
Stop wasting time, money, and tooth structure on cleaning clean root canals
Add revenue to your practice by billing the patient for ATP testing
The Technology
Enzymes in the Endocator tester convert ATP into light
The Endocator device detects this light and gives you a 0-100 score with 100 being high and 0 being low
High ATP scores mean more cellular contamination is present in the root canal
Previous research has shown that high levels of ATP correlate to living bacterial inside of a root canal
Previous research has shown the endodontic ATP testing is more sensitive than bacterial culturing
How to use Endocator
The entire Endocator test takes about a minute
Simply rinse the root canal with 1 ml sterile water, aspirate then inject the water into the endotester, then activate the plastic tester, then place the plastic tester inside of the Endocator
